I don`t understand why they wouldn`t made ICE analog of EvaluatePosition function if they had it "under the hood" anyway.danilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07616908627321961083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037954350464998026.post-6037231454088948262013-07-31T00:14:06.581-07:002013-07-31T00:14:06.581-07:00danil - isn't this what you're looking for...danil - isn't this what you're looking for:

http://julianjohnsonsblog.blogspot.co.uk/2010/07/even-spacing-on-curvenormalised-u-on.html

Julian Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04541438042345099926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037954350464998026.post-67869848971081657892013-07-30T15:26:46.840-07:002013-07-30T15:26:46.840-07:00Hello Julian.
Thanks a lot, it was very helpful.
...Hello Julian.
Thanks a lot, it was very helpful.

As far as I understand you are getting this evenly-spaced points using EvaluatePosition function. The closest analogy of it in ICE is node "UV to location" but this node return not-so-evenly distributed points =( Is there any way to create ICE-node wrapping your script inside? It would be much easier to plug such node in ice tree and not to run script every time you need it.danilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07616908627321961083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4037954350464998026.post-27690004279770737772012-11-19T04:04:53.857-08:002012-11-19T04:04:53.857-08:00Thanks Fabricio.
